Ice VS Heat: What You Need to Know
Patients often ask me whether they should use Heat or Ice when treating their aches and pains. Along with regular chiropractic care and stretching, Heating and Icing can significantly help reduce pain and soothe sore muscles.
However, it is important to understand when to use Heat and when to use Ice, depending on the type of pain you are experiencing. Before you run for the ice pack be sure to know which temperature you need in order to get the maximum benefit!
