My goal today is to inspire you to give out of your heart now, before the holiday buzz exhausts you and you miss the true meaning of the holidays. My children and I recently packed and sent our Christmas boxes for Operation Christmas Child, an organization that sends hope and love to less fortunate children all around the world. It felt so good to do this act of kindness now, before I got distracted and stressed about accomplishing the many other tasks during the giving season.
I am teaching my children at an early age to be community minded. Give of your time, your love, and if you are able, your financial backing to reputable organizations that have a plan and just need volunteers to help.
